Veil license plate cover protection against red light cameras...

    Hello,
From reading the posts, it is clear that the Veil G5 paint is not the best against the laser guns, at least when used alone.
Has anyone tested if Veil Laser Shield license plate covers are effective against red light cameras?
Thank you and my apologies if I missed any discussion on this subject.

I don't think Veil makes a license cover but if you mean the Laser Shield cover by Ontrack, then the answer to your question is no, the Laser Shield makes no claim to work against RLCs.

Have now seen the results of this. Useful as dirt on a diamond ring.

Laser shield covers do help but the issue is at 500ft the width of the average beam is around 18" wide. The height of a license plate is 6" so your car will surely reflect off of other areas so they are not useful unless really close.

Any idea what the beam ratio/width is for DE guns?
