    Firmware Version - Configuration issues

Hello, I recently installed ALP with 2 sensors in my front grille. When attempting to update the settings for the first time, I received the error 7-red lights. I checked the firmware version and it appears to be 1.1.6 (1 Red, 1 White, 1 Blue). I also checked and it noted that I have two sensors installed, one in F1 and the other in F2. I do not have any other sensors connected. Does anyone have any advice on how I shall proceed? I have followed the guide:

    http://radarandlaserforum.com/showth...riority-System

My thumbdrive is formatted for FAT32, and I have the following files on it (not in a folder, just on the drive):

    Setup.alp
    UCSET.bin
    U427xxxx.bin - (serial # on device)

Sounds like the serial number might not been activated for updates yet. Please go to http://www.alpriority.com and on the bottom of the page click on Product Registration and submit your registration information. Also Re-Download the firmware file and also check the type of drive you are using and make sure its a USB 2.0 (Not 3.0) drive and the smaller the better (16GB or less is preferred).

Thanks for the reply. I am using a 1 GB thumb drive, so I'd imagine it is no higher than 2.0. I did the product registration Saturday night, and attempted the update on Sunday so I may not have given it enough time. I am going to attempt again today to see what happens and will report back once I do.

    ------- Update

I downloaded the files again, and was able to successfully set it up. It is working properly now. Thanks!

Also try another USB Drive preferably a name brand like a Sandisk or similar. A lot of the cheap no name drives have sector errors etc and if the scan detects any issues with the drive it will not install from it to prevent a corrupt firmware update.

The USB Drive I'm using is a Sandisk, assuming 1.1 but can't confirm at this time.

I downloaded the files again, and was able to successfully set it up. It is working properly now. Thanks!
