    OPP Motorcycles

Last two days I've noticed them out and shooting laser on the 407 and that stretch of highway to the Lewiston Bridge.

Remember last fall I spotted a Laser Ally with an OPP motorcycle in Peel

I'm making a trip from Toronto to Montreal this long weekend. I expect there to be full force enforcement, just wondering if you guys in your own experience mostly encounter radar or lidar? Plane is a good possibility.

On Quebec highways , it is now 60\40 radar\laser .
    in cities 40\60

One thing is sure ...they are hungry.

Though on higways their tolerance varies from 115 to 120 kmh \ psl 100 ....depends the situation.

I agree they're hungry, they almost don't like people with Ontario plates. I remember 10+ years ago my father got a $250 ticket for driving through a parking lot, and the LEO thought we were cutting through it to avoid traffic. He even threatened to give us tinted window tickets, as my dad was not happy about the situation. Never even paid that ticket in the end!

That's what worries me if I installed rear sensors, instinctively I would probably hit the brakes and my lights would flare up. Must take some practice...

In the worst case : you can say you saw him on Waze

In Q i dont see them shooting @ the rear , i know cases where they did because they failed to get a reading at the front.
