Oh so you can do that by pressing a button on that control pad? It switches to receive mode? If so, that's perfect.

It can be done with the app, but I honestly don't want yet another app to run on my phone and launch manually every time I get in the car. At this point I already have to launch Waze and Live and press the dark button on my 905 CPU and I don't want to add more to the routine. If I could just turn my car on and have everything work automatically without me having to manually do anything, that'd be ideal.

In fact, I'm gonna see if I can get my dedicated YaV1 phone to run Waze in the foreground so I don't have to launch that anymore on my iPhone. Might be time to play with the iPhone's tethering options, come to think of it. (Sorry, don't wanna take the thread OT.)

    Great Idea

Also the Kenwood DNN series for the same reason, lots of F150 drivers in the US and here have added the Mistro units with the Kenwood DNN systems, this app included would make it a fully integrated install all on the dash.

I would like to have more control over the LED light. The blinking LED is WAY too bright! Dim mode doesn't work as I expect as the blinking stops altogether. I would prefer to control the brightness for all modes individually (parking, receiving, defense, alert). That way I can set parking, receiving, and defense mode to 30% brightness while an alert would be 100% brightness. I like to keep the LED blinking cause it gives me the knowledge that the unit is working, but I have the LED tucked away and mostly out of sight cause it blinks way to bright. It looks like a disco in my vehicle at night time!

I have an Idea, I had an encounter with my ALP. Turned the system on and got the 2 different beeps letting me know that they where linked and ready to go. Well some where along the lines of my travel i noticed that they ( the ALP B/T and iphone) where no longer linked together, thus making my ALP'S In op..
What would have been nice is if i had some kind of alert setting so if either or both systems where NO longer connected i would get a contant alert so i know that they have become disconnected from eachother..This way if your on a long trip and not paying constant attention to your C/M and something happens you will get a constant alert until you either manually shut it off or re connect the system..

Did you close the APP? If the app stayed open it should have automatically reconnected if for some reason it lost connection. It does also give you a tone when disconnected and reconnected.

iPhone Buetooth transceiver can get blocked from time to time, this is out of control of the apps. Solution is to disable/enable the Bluetooth in Settings or just turn the Phone Off and back On.

When it does get blocked it will look like you are in a connection but no data goes in or out.

Ok and if i did have some sort of (alarm) to say that you have been disconnected, then i would have known about my disconnect.. Most would think this would be a stupid thing, but if you where me yesterday and had gotten hit while this situation happened you would have not been a happy customer...
I dont know if im the only one to have this happen to or just the only one to notice it... of course if it was to be incorporated into the App, an option to deactivate it would also be an option for those who may think its not needed. Just my thoughts
