Configuration Help: LED Behaivior Switching Between HiFi & Alp Connect

FYI: My CPU is HW2, I'm running the latest FW, Voice Pack, and Quint with a TX front & Rear.

Before adding the rear RX & TX, in ALP Connect (ALPC) mode I had the external LED on the lowest setting, and when switching to HiFi I had the External LED off with just the control set LED on.
Now these external LED settings seem to follow the last loaded config.

I use modify in ALPC to setup my config with the external LED on lowest setting and run it. Good.
Then I shut the car off, open the door to make sure the power is off.
    Kill the ALPC.
I load my USB config setup with the external LED off and its fine.

Now I switch to the ALPC mode and the External LED is off. Some one tell me if what I had before is a fluke or ......

If you hit Modify in ALP Connect it does not load your current configuration. It will load your set ONLINE configuration. I would bet your USB configuration and your online configuration are different. Set all your setting in ALP Connect and when done go back to the app and hit download.

    OK,

I believe I have been doing as you say. And you are correct, my USB and ALPC configs differ in the External LED settings.

For HiFi on the USB I have External LED Mode set to Dim with Control Set brightness on 2. I have the Status LED brightness on 1/or off. (I only want to see it during an alert, the control set LED on 2 is enough for me to let me know its on and its status).
    OK this works fine.

I remove the USB, fire up ALPC, in Modify I set the External LED to Dim on 2 and slide the Control set slider to 1/off (and wonder why is there a control set setting in ALPC? Its firmware disabled anyway.) I save on line and then download.
    It works fine.

Now I kill ALPC and when she switches to HiFi my External LED is on. No longer do I have the control set LED only.

I had it the way I wanted it until the new FW I downloaded to install my TX's.
