No sound from HiFi after update

    Hey Guys,

After an update yesterday afternoon, all was fine. Last night lost all sound. Checked everything: mute button, tested the speaker separately, checked for loose plugs, even tried lowering and making the volume louder. The system works the way it always has: powers up, goes thru the warmup (green) after a minute goes to defense (blue). short press goes into parking only (green), short press goes back to defense (blue). Parking detection blinks (set on 3). Just no sound and no beeps at startup (silent startup is disabled).

I also went thru the update process one more time just to make sure.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks

Holla, I don't know what fixed it. But now it's not working again. Ordinarily I would suspect a loose connection but the fact that it happened right after an update leads me in another direction. Also I checked for loose cables etc. So I'm wondering if it's the software.

I traced the problem to the wire coming out of the control pad to the speaker. When I play with the wire and press on the pad it works fine for a while. That is some wild coincidence as it happened right after an update.

I am sure update was just a coincidence. Sounds like a bad wire connection. You can send it back for a replacement if it continues.
