I just bought a Kenu Airframe to mount my iPhone 5s and run Escort Live. It's super small and works great, I'm not a fan of the big bulky ones you typically see. If you're looking for an air vent mount:thumb: I highly recommend this product. Check it out.

They look nice but what about losing one vent worth of air?

Seems like it would not fit tightly on the vent and want to rattle around?? Is it a nice Firm mount and steady??

yep they have a two slot thats wide and one that,s narrow for the different vent size single grills and it is like flexible cone shape thats made out of like a rubber so it grip s the vent awsome you can put ur phone in at various angles never moves and one side of the braket that holds the body of the phones pulls out spring loaded, best phone holder i ever , so un believably simple and works

I had one over a vent in my old Volvo for my GPS. I would say it depends on where you live. I lived in Michigan, it wasn't bad. I moved south, and a summer in Georgia commuting in a military uniform down an A/C vent? Never again. In my BMW, I have a Pro Clip mount down around level with the stereo, and in my F-150, just above the A/C vent to the right of the steering wheel (there's a lot more room to work with in a full size truck). But I definitely prefer a dash mount to one that blocks a vent, having had both.

This is probably not something you'd want to use during the winter months, when you would be running your heat. Phones get hot enough as it is, but to have hot air blowing directly on it can't be good for the phone.

Yea but my heat comes out of the floor vents not the top vents so it should be fine !!

Here's another decent mount for travel.

For travel, I carry both the mountek and the vent mount so I have several mounting options. Last week, we rented a Jeep in Puerto Rico. The CD mount worked a little better than the vent mount so I used the Mountek. The wife and kids love to make fun of all of my "accessories" when I'm pulling out RD, phone mounts, chargers. :D

I use the Tetrax Xway for my phone. It's tiny, sturdy and IMO pretty classy looking..
