No wander were still paying for a road that was promised to have NO toll years ago LOL:drama:

ANPR Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system can also be used for video-based toll collection and origin/destination studies.
Nearly 100 LPR imaging and processing units operate on special gantries along City Link. The system captures an image of each vehicle in real time at speeds of up to 150km/h.
The LPR works by triggering a camera which takes a picture of each vehicle's front license plate. When a passing vehicle fails to properly display the tag, advanced image processing comes into play.

Imagine the cost now would this work http://www.sunflexzone.com/products/stealth-ir-anti-alpr-license-plate-privacy-frames?pagesize=12

Lol I hate paying tolls:help:

I bought some IR invisiplate covers from BRD, still waiting on plates for the new vehicle to test it out :D

Ghost plate 2 should work for overhead tolls (if they do the right plate size) ;

http://www.ghostplate.com/GHOSTPLATE_2.html

or the OnTrack offering ;

http://www.ontrackcorp.com/toll-free-protector.cfm?id=02

The OnTrack IR invisi plates should work as long as the toll cam only reads in infra red. Some ALPR's (in Oz) take a visible light and IR shot, and if one is not readable, it uses the other.

Ask Beingaware, I gave him my ontrack. For the small priced I paid for it and that one time it saved me it was worth it. It is a little bit noticeable and due to the amount of stuff hanging off my car I would rather not use it

The toll protector one stands out like crazy.

I did do a hot run with the gateway toll bridge with it, and it does work, my go via account was not touched but IT STANDS OUT.
Would not run daily with CMs.

I think BRD recommends the next one, which is less obvious ;

Toll Free Protector is crazy obvious and after you move 8 degrees off axis it looks like a Mirror. If IR is the problem the IR Invisi-Plate works well and is not noticeable at all. IR will go right through the Toll-FREE protectors.
