Hi all, so glad to be here with friends. I am a long time countermeasure user. I had one of the original Escorts and drove around the country with that and a CB radio in the early 80's (read he's old). Well I'm not that old and, over the years my knowledge and experience with various countermeasures has grown. i currently drive a Ford SUV. I was using a V1 running YaV1 with euro custom sweeps on a Samsung S4. But, I stopped using that, for now, due to an interference issue I perceived, during testing, with the Beltronics Stir Plus I also run. On the Stir Plus, the antenna is mounted low under the license plate set to receive all bands. Instead of the V1, I know use, as back up, a Band Seg Escort Redline mounted high to the right side of the rearview mirror, only set to alert to Ka. I run Waze on the Samsung and use a Cheetah C50 for fixed camera alerts. As for laser, I use a Laser Interceptor current gen with two 8.9 heads up front and nothing in the rear. Tired of waiting for the next gen LI and, solutions to current threats, I'll likely be switching to ALP. Didn't want to do another jammer instal on my vehicle. The LI's were switched from another vehicle only last summer. I don't pick sides and, am a fan boy for no specific company or countermeasure. I wish to remain as impartial as possible in my analysis. My only criteria is, does it work and how well? I believe I and, anyone I care about, must have the most comprehensive protection. There has been nothing from the LI quarter in months, no updates and not even a real hint about the next gen. Time waits for no man (remember I'm "old!").

LOL.. You did force us to release another video of my Wife's White Acadia to offset the theory that the Color had any factor in the results. In any case ask questions and we will answer them honestly. Welcome to the forum and thanks for being a part of it.

Welcome to the forum. I am very glad that you have joined. Although the owner of this forum is also the US distributor for AntiLaser you will find that the content is very well balanced and based on fact and testing. If any CM including the ALP doesn't perform as well as advertised or does not perform as well as it's competitors, we will call it out.

The majority of the senior members here have been involved in the community for years and have an excellent reputation of advocating for the members of the community. Many times their opinions and results from testing have not been politically correct and have been critical of a manufacturer or two.

You will find many independent members on here. Feel free to offer dissent to opinions presented here. The members of this forum will back up their opinions with valid testing results.

I hope that we get the opportunity to meet each other and possibly performing some testing together. If we do, you will have the opportunity to personally verify the test results that were posted here that you have questioned on RDF.
