We have known the owners of DGC for a good 7+ years and have sent many of our customers there to be taken care of. While the current owner of Security Gear (DGC) does not post much they are also on this forum and you can PM them if you need anything.

I will agree 100% on that one, Tim has looked after me when I bought my first beltronics magnum through to my ALP purchase that's why he is top of the list :)

Yes i highly recommend
Tim is great with knowledge and even can help find installer for you if you want to be assured of a good job with working order the guy even tested it out for me and programmed it!
I love my jammers & I owe my licence to them as i travel at 112km in 110km zone BIG WOOP! I AINT A HOON in rain i wipe 12km off!

http:// http://www.dontgetcaught.com.au/home.html

as they are the local radar laser specialist in the know of the latest threats etc

otherwise I have used all those guys at sometime!

Anyone using radar detectors in anywhere but W.A need to only buy a Escort Beltronics Stir Plus Au/N.Z model that is made to be 100% immune to spectre3 and VG2, And go buying a valentine expect to get looked at as I passed a truck with 1 and i picked it up from behind it as i got closer the signal got strongest I then pulled up at lights and asked him he said he had a Valentine One so thats the downside to using non shielded tech or chinas ebay 1's best go to see security gear and rest assured you have made a good purchase ,

Spectre Mk III is superseded & VG2 has not been used in Aus for a very long time now. Spectre IV is the one to worries about :) if a radar detector claims to be SII or VG2 is it highly detectable to modern RDD's :)
V1 do leak a hell of a lot but I know a few people that use them around town or build up area's as there commute is in the city. Not good for highway use and your the only one on the road :)

Thankyou for correcting me,
They track the detectors using devices and the spetre IV,

Still I highly advise anyone buying a detector that is wanting to remain discreet 2 chose one that features TotalShield Technology that makes it completely invisible against any type of radar detector "detector",

Would dropping the device could make it leak and become detectable?

Thankyou for your contribution

Very True, Spectre is around an it does a wonderful job at picking up leaky or cheap RD's.
There is only 6 FCC registered horn type RD that are spectre proof, with the exception of patch antennas from stinger that are $$$$$$$$$$$$

It depends, have you dropped yours???? I would be more worried about damaged internals than the total-sheild for the horn

very true with the Valentine, but lets not forget there are other devices that are RDD immune such as the redline although a windshield mount is easier to see visually.
